Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Hold The Line. These terms govern your access to and use of the Hold The Line application and related services.
01 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account or using Hold The Line, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Hold The Line. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
02 — DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Hold The Line is a discipline and accountability tool for traders. It provides a timed rule-check system, session management features, and accountability tracking. Hold The Line is not a financial advisory service, brokerage, or trading platform. Nothing in Hold The Line constitutes financial advice, trading recommendations, or investment guidance.
03 — USER ACCOUNTS
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
04 — USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of the trading rules and session data you enter into Hold The Line. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to you as part of providing the service. You represent that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
05 — NO FINANCIAL ADVICE
Hold The Line is a productivity and discipline tool only. The app does not provide financial advice, trading signals, market analysis, or investment recommendations. Any trading decisions you make are solely your responsibility. Past session adherence data is for personal accountability only and should not be construed as evidence of trading performance or fitness for any financial purpose.
06 — PHOTOSENSITIVITY WARNING
Hold The Line uses flashing screen effects (flash alerts) as part of its core functionality. These visual alerts involve rapid changes in screen brightness and color. By using Hold The Line, you acknowledge that you are aware of this and accept full responsibility for any health effects that may result. Hold The Line and its operators are not liable for any adverse medical effects, including but not limited to seizures, migraines, discomfort, or other photosensitive reactions arising from use of the application. If you have a history of epilepsy, photosensitive seizures, or any other condition that may be affected by flashing lights, consult a medical professional before using this service.
07 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Hold The Line is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
08 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hold The Line and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of trading profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months prior to the claim.
09 — PROHIBITED USES
You agree not to: (a) use Hold The Line for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service; (d) use the service in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it; or (e) use automated means to access the service without our prior written consent.
10 — TERMINATION
You may stop using Hold The Line and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
11 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible, or through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
